How many have poor circulation to your legs and feet? How many are beginning to show varicose and spider veins? For some reason I threw a dvt (deep vein thrombis) blood clot behind my right knee three months ago. My whole leg was three times larger than my left leg. I read an article that gave statistics on who has certain health conditions that could cause one to throw a clot. I have a vitiamin D deficiency, AB positive blood type ( which is rare), Lupus, poor circulation in legs and feet, and Fibromyalgia. These conditions were mentioned in the article. There were others as well. I am not saying folks who have these conditions will throw a blood clot. I am not saying this is the reason I threw a huge blood clot deep in that particular vein. But what fascinated me was the fact I have this many conditions that could be a reason. My Doctor (who is a vein specialist) is not quite sure what caused the blood clot.
I have been diagnosed with Lupus, Chronic Fibromyalgia in my central nerve system Raynaud’s syndrome , Sjögren’s syndrome, generalized anxiety disorder. Thank goodness all my doctors believe in Fibromyalgia and Lupus and these diseases can lead to all the side kicks they bring to the table. People who do not have Lupus and the side kicks don’t have a clue.
