Hi Zulka, i'm sorry to hear that your not feeling great at the mo:(. Can i ask when you say you have Lupus on your face do you mean the rash or face pain? if its the rash you can ask your Doctor to look into prescribing a drug called 'mepacrine' (think thats how it is spelt) and a steroid cream called cutivate (dont want to use alot of this as steroid creams tend to thin the skin out). I had really bad Lupus rash on my face and hands about 10 years ago and the above medication really helped to bring it under control, keep in the mind that the drugs may have changed as it was a long time ago.

All i can say is really work with your Doctor to get you on the right drug treatment to help relieve your symtoms. Enviroment and life style changes will also help too, i know excersise is probably the last thing you want to do especially when you have joint pain but it does help and i also found strectching excersises help to.

I really hope some of what i have said helps just remember your not alone and just as Pinky said above we totaly get you. All the best and i hope your feeling better soon.

I agree totally with both comments above, I only joined a few weeks ago a I have found everyone to be very kind and welcoming. Hope you find your doctor helpful and I have found the best think, other than my husband who's not for sharing(lol), is to look after yourself! Xx

Welcome Zulka to a great site where you are not alone. We do not all have the same symptoms all the time but there is always someone on here who can relate and has been through the same experience.....you can't get better than that. Blog and ask away to your hearts content. Have a good day xx

I also have the joint issues I get very stiff and sore and get the rash on my face it looks like real bad acne at times but it comes and go. I find my rash gets worse when I am under stress or get hot. I work full time in the nursing field and my daughter will graduate high school next year. I just keep hoping that things will get better. I am on plaqnil for the lupus it helps some but I need something else I get depressed to because I can not stand feeling like this. I know things can be worse so I try and stay positive.i have started taking a supplement called turmnic it is supposed to help with inflammation but I just have to see what happens also have brain fog that scares me the most but that is just something else to have to deal with. But this site helps so we can talk about it sometimes people do not understand lupus and do not know how we really feel.
