does it work or will it work in reverse ?
I don't know if anyone knows how it will work at this stage - but I tried some years ago to get the health board here to let me go back to Gloucester for treatment because they had failed to treat me here (and I was getting more and more ill for want of the right medication). It was a flat 'no'. I hope that this might open the door just a little bit.
I did try as I have lived in Wales for four years and seen my (crap) rheumatologist for ten minutes in the whole time, but the answer was no. This is a great move forward 👏
Things might not be too much better in England - I’m in Hertfordshire and the only rheumatologist I’ve seen in 4 years (since Covid) was when I saw one privately. I had a steroid injection which helps me get through winter. I just get phone calls and promises of face to face appointments. Fortunately I’m fairly stable.
Hope you can get some help.
