low moods

I am suffering from low moods, very emotional and overthinking which I think will be a mixture between my lupus and potentially perimenopause.

I was wondering if anyone felt the same and if so did you take any medication which helped?

Yes and I went on HRT patches which made a huge difference. Not a cure all but definitely helps me.

Maybe ask your GP reception if any of the doctors or nurses specialise in perimenopause and book at an appointment with that person and go and talk through your symptoms it’s a start to finding out what’s going on for you.

Hi- HRT has really helped me with low mood and anxiety due to hormone changes - I have Evorel patches for my oestrogen - started at 50 and increased to 75- and Utrogestan for progesterone. I have hydroxychloroquine for my lupus. I did go private for my first HRT consultation but my GP Prescribes the medication on the NHS.
