Today’s article where PIP assessors admit what a shamble the system is. Hopefully this is the beginning of a campaign the next government can finally make fair. I personally feel the old 3 tier was fine.

sadly I think both the current government and the opposition view peopke on durability benefits as a burden on the taxpayer. The current moves to give us vouchers instead of monetary payments is a disgrace. They have no idea of the hidden costs of disability sadly.xxx

Your comment about the government seeing us as a burden rings completely true. It is this inability to see us in compassionate terms and only in financial, that makes me feel our situation is completely and utterly misunderstood.

I think it is worse than misunderstood I believe fervently it is a deliberate ploy to save money. They fail to accept that we were once fully paid up contributing members of society too. The difference is our politicians can afford private health care xxx

I totally agree with you on all points. My use of the word misunderstood wasn’t really conveying what I meant (foggy head today post vaccine!), but you put it more accurately. X
