I have had a wound on my leg for at least 6 weeks that is growing and won't scab or heal. I am not on steroids at the moment (just plaquenil) and don't have any other signs of a possible flare. Has anyone ever had something like this? Is it related to Lupus or just a coincidence?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi.i cant answer your question but what are you treating it with ? I had never had an ulcer before until I grazed my ankle a couple of years ago and it ulcerated but I'm steroid dependent and take mmf. The only thing that healed it up was inadine dressings and antibiotics.took about 3 weeks. Hope this helps 🙏 SML x
Hi there I don't know what drugs you are on - but slow wound healing can be as a result of a vitamin or mineral deficiency - if you are able to tell me the drugs you are on I can check any interactions and you can ask your medical team if OK to take.
