Headache post update 🤕

Dear lovely forum friends I hope you’re being kind to yourselves 💕

Wanted to give you an update on the 4 year waking headache 🥱. Saw excellent ENT consultant who checked sinuses all clear . Neurologist was fantastic and ordered MRI head .

Results showed “enlarged pituitary “ but radiographer said could be normal which confused me bit !

Had whole batch of tests done Monday checking thyroid , cortisol , all hormones etc . I’ll post the results if they show anything .

Thank you sooo much for all your support as I’d of never gone to the private neurologist if you hadn’t all supported me 😘 xxx

It's a shame we have to pay but if it gets you help quicker then you have to try. I hope your follow up gives you some answers.

I sincerely hope that your results will show what is causing the persistent headache. I know it is soul destroying to be ill and then have something else on top that sucks the joy out of life.

I know also that going to a private specialist is costly and feels like queue jumping but in terms of quality of life it has become a necessity. Had I not gone to a private Cardiologist I would not have my husband or I would be only three months in to the two year waiting list to see a Gynaecologist that was the wrong specialist anyway. Please keep us informed. Lots of love xx

Blimey 😦… yes so true and I’m not sure drs realise sometimes that even functioning on a low level is so so hard. This isn’t about being able to climb mountains it’s about being able to get through the day , have a wash , make some food . The simple things others would perhaps take for granted xxxx 🤗

Exactly that. We have to work very hard just to exist so we need every opportunity to do so. I don’t think most Doctors understand that xxx
