Just a quick one . This Zentiva issue is a nightmare.
What would you think about collating posts , not displaying names obvs, and sending them to radio programmes, newspapers and I guess Pharmacy wholesalers themselves as they are the problem.
Any administrators out there, do you have advice?

Can't hurt. The replies I got on the thread of this last week were frustrated and so sad. We should not be going through this every couple of months but as it stands the ring round chemists is the only way to get zentiva or any make of hydroxy at the moment.
I gave Zentiva a few examples of how people feel and have been given the runaround- no identification obviously. Interesting that someone else phoned Zentiva and was told they had made an agreement with Boots. I suspect that will be a price incentive to supply their product. Be nice if all this meant we could have less stress and worry
what have we got to lose I’m happy to be involved. There seems to be a lack of understanding on the part of some of how brands other than Zentiva affect us.
It took me ages to find a pharmacy that had Zentiva. Finally got it from Well pharmacy. They assured me they can get it and so far they have but it has only been two months. When I was having trouble I phoned Zentiva. They assured me there was no problem with supplies and that a pharmacy can phone and order from them direct. My old pharmacy refused to do this despite my prescription saying must be Zentiva. Had to go two weeks taking only half a tablet a day until I managed to get my prescription honoured.
I'm really pleased you are able to get Zentiva. My problem is I don't drive and public transport where I live is not good. I'm seeing my GP on Tuesday to ask for a prescription for a batch and hope the local pharmacy to honour it
No they don;t! It states on my prescription 'Zentiva Only' yet I have great trouble getting it. If the pharmacies distribution warehouse don't supply now then you won't get it x
Hiya, I had the same problem last week when I picked up my Hydroxychloroquine and they gave me a different brand Not ZENTIVA, which is in capital letters on my repeats! So I asked for a prescription so I could get it myself. After phoning 6 different pharmacys , I found some but it really is something that I could do without. The last thing that I want to do when I am tired and I have had to explain sooooo many times! Cx
It's so tiring! Could you get a prescription for a couple of months worth and go back to that pharmacist? It would give you a breather before the next round of tours around chemists. My MP is waiting to hear from the health board, fingers crossed. All the best! x
I have had to have quinoric for months as the pharmacist isn’t allowed to order it as their supplier won’t get it in. It’s ridiculous, who is allowing the supplier to get away with it when law says if you have that brand on your prescription that’s what you should be given! Is it the NHS or the Drs or who?
