Just received the following email from Zentiva in last few minutes
"Dear Judith,
Thank you for providing further information on your situation. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience the ongoing issues obtaining Zentiva hydroxychloroquine are causing and the consequences it is having on your Lupus management.
We can confirm there is supply available, however, due to the previous shortage of our product, some wholesalers have not resumed placing orders, which is resulting in pharmacies not being able to get hold of stock.
We are working closely with wholesalers and Lupus UK to resolve these issues as a matter of priority."
Maybe there is hope for us, now how to ensure we get the meds we can tolerate? No timescales given, but lets hope it isn't long. I have yet to respond to them as you, my fellow Lupies, are my priority.
