Hello everyone it's been a while, any info on lupus and raynaud's phenomenon in regards to the Ramadan fasting will be welcomed. I have both and kidney issues too.

Hi, I was wondering how fasting effects different people and how might a body with Lupus react to fasting? I manage to keep about 2 weeks worth of fasts but give up as I feel as my body weakens, I no longer have strength to keep going. Also, lack of sleep really affects me too.

Hi Chanpreet, thank you for the thoughtful post. It’s my younger sister’s first Ramadan (God willing) since being diagnosed a couple of months ago, and is gutted she won’t be able to fast due to timings of all the meds she’s on. Will be helpful to pass on any experiences or advice for her to take comfort in.
