have recently been diagnosed with Lupus (April22) has anyone a solution to very painful fingers and toes…..cannot use fingers easily …PLUS mouth ulcers prevent being able to chew……living on scrambled eggs and spinach!

Am on Mycophenolate and Hydroxychloroquine plus Prednisolone 15mgs daily….needless to say not very happy like a lot of others am sure!

Mouth ulcers are a rare adverse effect of mycophenolate:

Probably worth speaking to your doctors about trying a discontinuation and reinitiation as described there.

Hydroxychloroquine can also cause mouth sores - the two together is maybe simply too much.
