For me it was Plaquenil. And steroids at the beginning.

That is a difficult one to answer because of the how the pain manifests itself. I mainly experience pain in the form of bursitis and tendonitis in episodic inflammation flair ups. I have a background medication of daily hydroxychloroquine. Sometimes Tylenol with caffeine has worked. Recently, I have been using a topical CBD balm which greatly helped inflammation in my ankle tendonitis. Prednisone dose packs have helped but makes those around me run for the hills because of my irritability.
