Anemia and Red Blood Shapes Results - Do They Mean Anything

Hi! I have had anemia for some time and take iron pills that keep what the doctors call stable anemia. My recent blood work had these other results that I have never had before. I realize that they relate to abnormal shapes of the red blood cells. I am just wondering if they matter. I did a little research and it links them to Hemolytic Autoimmune Anemia which seems to me to relate to lupus. I am wondering why my rheumatologists have never really addressed my anemia. My regular doctor manages it, Any help would be appreciated. Here are the blood results:

Anisocytosis1+

Polychromasia1+

Hypochromia1+

Poikilocytes2+

Schistocytes1+

Burr Cells2+

Target Cells1+

Tear Drop Cells1+

Thanks for any insight.

Healing hugs.
