It is on Friday. Honestly I am very anxious about it. I feel dreadful and am so scared I will fall over,wet myself or have an asthma attack. I have a black spike where my front crown was and this morning in the shower I pulled the shower head off and it hit me in the eye so now I have a steroid moon face, no tooth and a black eye. I had to laugh but I feel so self conscious and very low. I have a huge hole in my ceiling from the leak and as the water permeated inside the floor the smell of damp is awful. I just hope getting some healthy looking curls and no grey will raise my flagging spirits xxx

Thank you so much. I usually can pick myself up but honestly I am so fed up of the constant problems. If my hair goes ok I will share a photo ( of the back of my head at least lol). The salon I am going to looks amazing and my carer is coming with me . It is an hour and a half from home but hopefully it will be worth it 🤞🏻 Xxx

Ahh bless you - really feel for you Cecily - it’s no wonder your feeling low - maybe wear some sunglasses tomorrow and you will have your face mask on so they won’t see your missing tooth - like you say I’m sure it will make you feel good having to coloured and cut - I’m almost all grey now but I colour it myself luckily - fingers crossed for you tomorrow 🤞🤗😘

My hair is down to my waist when wet and so dry. There are three different colours, grey, light brown and auburn ends. They may not colour it because I was supposed to leave 92 hours for my test patch but I have had no reaction so I am praying they will. Even if they don’t I have seen the magic they do on Instagram and I am amazed so if mine can look even a little bit like that I will be ecstatic. Xxx

A smile maker post! Love it. I accidently meant to order 1 donut when ordering groceries, but got 12. I froze most of them and now can have one when I wish. They froze really well. I still can't taste, but the texture of a donut is great.

I can do that too! Sometimes I pacify the runner by explaining it’s a Slimming World HiFi bar and costs just 3 Syns as opposed to the two chocolate biscuits which would have cost me 8. THEN my halo glows. Easy peasy! Lol!

It’s really a struggle when you’re taking the steroids and the hydroxychloroquine. My husband has lost 23lb to my 7lb. I am so inactive too, which doesn’t help. It’s too painful to walk more than a few steps outside. In the house I sort of furniture walk and I swear I could walk miles indoors. Fell recently so makes things worse. Onwards and upwards. I am lucky to have just the symptoms I have. Some poor souls on here seem to be so much worse than me. I’m so lucky. 😁
