Hello everyone I hope you are all doing ok. I've not been on here much due to feeling quite stressed and tired. To all of you who have asked me a question and I have not replied please accept my apologies. It's nothing personal as I've just not felt up to it. I haven't even managed to exercise as cannot seem to get motivated
I'm very confused as to being offered a third vaccine and then a booster jab. I have had my 2 vaccines already. Has anyone been offered this? Has anyone had it? I'm feeling quite anxious about it
It feels really good to be back and speak with you all.....thank you x

Hi Sixy6, sorry your not feeling great. Just wanted to say hope you feel better soon. I cant offer and advice as I still have not had my first dose yet. Still apprehensive and haven't made my mind up whether I want to have it. Tc x
Hello sixtyYes I have had my first two injections and have just had my third,I was sent a letter to say I should have the 3rd as classed as clinically vulnerable, then I'm due to have my booster next year in may.
Hi Sixy6. Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling so awful. In response to your question on the vaccine- immunosuppressed people should get 3 primary vaccinations followed by a booster 6 months later. Pfizer seems to be the vaccine used for the 3rd injection regardless of which you had for the first two. Hope this helps and that you are feeling less stressed and tired soon. X
The 3rd primary jab can be given any time from 8 weeks after the 2nd primary jab and is for the more vulnerable patients such as we who were on immunosuppressant medicine at the time of the first 2 jabs or who have certain medical conditions that may make them more vulnerable to Covid. Then there will be a booster 6 months after the 3rd primary jab.
In my book - the more the merrier. The jabs are identical, it iseligibility and timing that differs
