Hi everyone,
October is coming upon us quickly and with it, our Lupus Awareness Month campaign.
This year, we will be sharing the stories and experiences of people with lupus who are still at an increased risk from COVID-19. For most, this may be because they are on immunosuppressant treatments that reduce the protection offered by vaccination. We want to encourage people to be considerate of those around them and help protect everyone within our communities.
During the month, we will have a radio campaign day. In 2020 we had coverage from 140 local and national broadcasters, reaching a potential audience of over 42 million people.
I'm looking for someone to take part in a morning of live and recorded radio interviews with me this year.
You must:
- be available on Wednesday 6th October 2021 (the interviews can be done via Skype/telephone if you are unable to travel to the studio based in London).
- be 18+.
- be a UK resident.
- be comfortable speaking about your personal experiences during interviews.
- continue to be at an increased risk from COVID-19 due to your disease/treatment.
Interested?
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email paul@lupusuk.org.uk with a short outline of your story/experiences during the pandemic.
