Ian made them that shelter for when it’s raining , it’s took them 2 weeks to use it - they kept sheltering under the wheel barrow 😂 they are funny. How’s your knee now? Xx

My knee is recovering slowly thank you. I can stand for about 15 minutes now but cannot put my foot flat to the floor still and steps are difficult but I have hope. At least now , although it takes me longer with all the breaks, I can make bread and cakes again so I am happier especially now that my snout has stopped bleeding too 🐽 xxx

You’ve had a lot to cope with lately - am so happy you can do some baking now - I’ve been experimenting with different flavoured scones - think my fav is fresh ginger and apricot , they are divine and I make them really big 😂 Mira and Bea love little tit bits of them - how’s Dylan and Brodie now, have they got a clean bill of health now from the vets ? Mira is currently in season so acting very peculiar at the moment , she keeps wanting to go out in the garden all the time x

Oh yummy the scones sound divine. My favourite are strawberry scones. I omit the milk and use a good quality strawberry yoghurt then add dehydrated strawberry pieces. I bought the boys a stock pile of their favourite chews last week. They cost me £36 plus P&P. NEIL had strict instructions they could have one a week as they have their biscuit treats and tins of herring and mackerel from Fish4Dogs too. Today I found that they had all gone. I was livid. When Ocado arrives they expect a treat. They were going mad but I had nothing for them. Neil decides to go out to get some and he comes back with bleached rawhide !! 😱🤬. So they are now in the bin. Other than that they are doing well. Brodie is still very stiff but otherwise good. Dylan has had an irritation in the fold in on his ear. When they stitched them closed they puckered the skin a little on the one side. Neil held him while I looked and right in the corner was a stitch. In fairness the vet apologised and removed it free of charge and he has been fine since. Poor Mira hormones are unsettling things xxx

I bet the air was blue in your household 🤬 and rawhide is such awful stuff isn’t it - we don’t give it to ours either - Bea and Mira would love to come and live at your house with Neil giving all the treats out 🤣 I would have been livid too - I’m not keen on strawberry things, do you think the scones would work with raspberries? I may give that a try - hope you have a good rest of the evening x

I am still fuming. The chews they absolutely love are Earth Animal No Hide chews. They look like raw hide but are all organic in flavours of chicken, beef, salmon and their favourite Peanut butter. They have the small ones but they are still £4 .99 each. I order them in six packs as the postage is £6 on top. That he gave them so many in a week made me furious. He just will not listen. I love strawberry but the raspberry works just as well. Enjoy your evening too xxx

Different problem with my leg but to bake and stand in the kitchen I rest the leg on a low stool with the knee bent like a stork! It provides a little relief. 😃
