Amenorrhoea?🤔

Not only for the “ladies” as you say but for anyone who wants to know, men, girls, boys etc.

Check out the many reasons why this happens:

Interesting....so hopefully they will come back.

Amazing how lupus destroys everything

Yes, but there may be another reason?

Not necessarily an AI condition like lupus? Perhaps a gynaecologist preferably female could help?

Too many male gynaecologists who do not quite understand the female anatomy properly?🤔

I do blame everything lupus lol

My specialist said they will come back takes up to 6 months but i want the no the reason. Hopefully its just stress related.

It is funny because since I have been diagnosed ( last January), I have had my monthly every single day since February 10th. I am worried because I was also very anemic during that time (was diagnosed in the hospital). I don’t want to be that anemic again.

Ahhhh god csnt win can we.

Thats an extremely long time

Yes. It is so annoying. The specialist I am seeing started me on Depo shots (Even though I am full of blood clots in my lungs). It worked! The pst two days it stopped...but started up again today just as heavy. I am so frustrated. 🤷‍♀️

Just started progestin only birth control. Had ovarian cysts and likely have undiagnosed endometriosis. It is actually common to have menstrual irregularities in lupus but it can be due to many reasons as others have said. We are also more likely to bleed heavily.

Birth control has helped me find more restful sleep and a little more energy. Let your doctor know about your amenorrhea. They can order appropriate tests to figure out cause. Start with GP. They may check thyroid. If no answers, go to Gyn.

Hope this helps. ❤️xx
