Hello <3 I received my 1st dose of pfizer vaccine 10 days ago.So far, so good. What are your experiences?Did it cause a flare in those of you that you were in remission? Were you taking any medication when you got it?I asked 3 different rheumatologists and advised me to take it BUT we don't have any data about autoimmune patients. This is not very reassuring.I am very scared because I read a lot of horror stories online. One doctor from my country (Greece) developed Sjogrens 15 days after the vaccine and she's awful at the moment. For patients with autoimmune conditions this is a big dilemma..We don't want to get covid but we also worry about this new vaccine.Damned if you do,damned if you don't.Any testimony would be appreciated.Thank you so much.

Covid-19 vaccine and flare ups
Hi there..I have a autoimmune disorder and was taking lefludomide at the time.. I had both my Pfizer vacines back in December and January with no ill effect..hope all goes well for you too..🌻🌸🦋
Hi there, I have MCTD and wasn’t (and still am not) on any medication, just supplements. I was doing relatively well pre-vaccine, and then I received my AZ vaccine almost two weeks ago. I felt sick for a few days from the vaccine like many people, and then got better. However I am definitely flaring up this week - I’m not sure if it’s because of the vaccine or just what would have happened anyway, but I’m suspicious that it could be related to the vaccine. I’m trying to hold off on starting a course of steroids until after I get my second dose, but we’ll see. I’m also curious about whether others have experienced flare ups after vaccination.
