Vaccine and lupus
I had my first dose about a month ago and apart from being a bit headachy and nauseous i've been fine. next one due at the end of April
Ihad a stiff Armand ached for 36 hours.I thought itwas easier than getting Covid.stay safe
I am an SLE patient. I had mine last week (Gp forgot about me and also did not register me to the national nhs site as vulnerable/ people with underlying health conditions category), they constantly fail their duty of care and I think it’s selective ☺️). I was fine. I had sharp stomach pains but Nexium is brilliant for that. The first dose was smooth! Next dose is in June. Since I am prone to strokes, I have decided to take aspirin few weeks prior and after the vaccine.... hope this helps, L
I have SLE was fine. Shivers, fever first night, headache & bit rubbish next day. Fine 2 days later. Oh and sore arm out of the blue 4 days later. All good now & better than COVID. I was worried about a flare, but much happier for having it.
I have a ‘lupus-like’ illness and APS & Sjogrens. The first couple of days I had a few fairly mild symptoms, then got better for 3 days but have since gone into a flare of bad joint pains, aching everywhere and fatigue. Or at least we assume that it’s a flare. I had the vaccination on 11 Feb so it’s gone on a long time. A 5-day course of prednisolone made me much better but it all came back again once the course was finished. I have a lot of other illnesses and my local rheumy is not good so I have made an appointment with one of the doctors at the London Lupus clinic next Friday when I hope they will have a suggestion to help me.
