Have you had severe facial itching with SLE?

Hi, I am having severe itching on my face, neck, ears and eyebrows which is now starting into my eyelids. Waiting for ESR results and taking Telfast which is not really helping. I am cracking up! Anyone else with SLE Lupus experience this and did anything help? Currently on methotrexate , plaqueunil and propranolol. Worried it will go to my eyes. The thing is that I don't always show a rash with it. Very strange.

Hi I don’t get facial itching but do on my chest, arms and legs - I take piriton every 4 hours which really helps then if it’s really bad I use steroid cream - there’s nothing worse then insane itching - have you talked to your GP about it? Xx

Hi, yes I have been to the GP and she prescribed Telfast antihistamine and gave me steroid cream. It's not working however. She also sent off blood to check my ESR levels but haven't had the results yet. Absolutely driving me insane. I might try Piriton and see if they are better. Sending blood results to my rheumatologist when I get them, see what he says. Thanks for getting back to me xx
