Update

Hi everyone here’s a little update on my heart episode. I returned home with a picc line and have had the district nurses coming in everyday to give me my antibiotics. I have not heard from the hospital which is a bit frustrating. But the district nurses are trying to get hold of them . I finish my antibiotics on Monday so hopefully get this picc line out . Fingers crossed. I am very frustrated as I carnt sit in a car I keep trying but just starts a lot of pain . On a plus work furloughed me till April so don’t have to worry about that side . I have spoke the gp who have been very supportive but a bit honest about the length of recovery. Just feeling a bit down and very frustrated about the whole thing sorry for my update moan . Hi Barb..I'm pleased to hear you are back in your own surroundings and that your gp has been supportive 👍 I think once home it's easy to become frustrated we arnt recovering quick enough and that we should be doing more.be kind to yourself and allow yourself time to recover properly...you will fair better in the long run .

Hi Barb, you have been through a really tough time. I am so pleased that you will soon get the picc line out at least then you will feel more comfortable. I know it can be frustrating to not be able to do what you would like to but you need to be kind to yourself and recover completely. It is no wonder that you feel low given everything that you have endured. Sending you big virtual Cwtches. Rest up xxx
