Hi everyone sorry not written for a while had a mad time . Last time I wrote was to say that I had a heart attack and a stent fitted . The next thing was I was home for four days actually got to xmas dinner at my daughters. Was rushed back in for them to find a blood clot in my heart and they found an infection in there to . Got sent home with a picc line in so I could have six weeks if antibiotics nuke antibiotics which have been given by the district nurse . The first time the district nurse changed the dressing she moved the picc line three centimetres. Back for a chest X-ray all good . But now I can feel the picc line in my chest and have a feeling might have to have it changed . Getting rather sick of hospitals the consultant has been brilliant has they saved my life and my dads he was in a week after me with heart failure.. think it’s just been a bit of bad luck . Thanks for reading my moan xxxxx barbara

Thanks soooo much for your post /Barbara, you are a fighter and a survivor, you have no idea how much your experience boosts others and gives us all courage in this battle together, so glad I'm on your side, wishing you well, Polly .
Hello Barbara. You have come a long way and have done brilliantly with the help of the doctors and God. Please, do not be tired now. Follow your heart and get whatever is worrying you checked out by the doctors. If it is nothing then that's ok. Please, make sure you protect yourself from COVID-19, ,whilst in hospital, most importantly. Follow all the rules and advise, to protect yourself and make sure, anybody coming to examine you follow the rules as well. For example, they must wear aprons or scrubs, gloves and mask and sanitise their hands even where wearing gloves, if they have to touch your Picc line. You will be fine. Try no not to worry too much about it rather talk to your doctor about your worries so they can advise you accordingly. Sending you and your dad, my warm hugs. Remain blessed.
What a time you’ve had of it Barb! You’ve every right to moan so don’t apologise. That is too much to suffer and the worry of your Dad too all in such a short time. But take comfort from the old saying, ‘if it doesn’t kill you it will make you stronger!’ I’m wishing you a speedy recovery and better luck for the rest of this year. With love and hugs 💜🙏🏻🤗x
Hi Barb, you’re not moaning, we are here to support you. You and your dad have been through a lot. I’m pleased to hear you have a good consultant, I hope the ABs work quickly and both you and your dad start improving soon. Love Meg 💕xxx
