Professionally made Triple Facemasks.

Hi. I originally put this subject in a reply to a thread, but it been advised to make it an actual post as it's important to let as many people know possible.

So, it's clear this virus is around for a while, particularly those that have health conditions.

I sew professionally, the past 28yrs and have been making triple layer facemasks over the past year. I make them bespoke, so different sizes and styles. They're all 100% cotton and reusable and washable at 60°.

I've spoken to Paul the Admin and he has given me permission to let the community know if they want to buy one. You can find them on the following website :CraftAndSew.artfire.com

50% of the sales, I will be donating to Lupus UK also.

Any questions, you can message me on here or there on the website.

Also, if there's a particular fabric design you want; like a star wars image etc...where obtainable, let me know for a small additional charge.

Stay safe and warm!

Many thanks. 😊

I agree about facemasks from a filter regulated health and safety point of view, but face coverings can be anything from a scarf. Designer masks and ones with big holes, as you put it, I can't comment on those, as I don't make them.

You seem to be based in America.

No, the website is, but the prices are the equivalent of British pounds and purchases can be sent to most countries in the world.

Im not selling either of those things if you read the original post. Protective facemasks are designed for use in close contact with high levels Covid patients. My masks are just for the necessary requirements to enter public places and not made of paper, to get thrown on the streets after use. Of course, still sticking to 1-2 mtrs apart as sensible people would do.

Noone is obligated to buy them, nor am I claiming to sell regulatory PPE, which I think you're getting mixed up and posting intent replies.

I think I've fully cleared up your mislead queries now.

Thanks.

I don't know where you live, but I have seen many people using a scarf around their mouths and noses. Not ideal, but that's their choice to meet the requirements of face coverings.

Thanks so much for fundraising for Lupus UK, and with the blessing of Paul, Chief Executive!

👍😊❤️...some cheer in our face coverings is so welcome, and I guess the PM may want to implement SAGE's recommendations on improved face coverings in his address to the nation this evening xxx

Anything positive and gets us back to some normality is very welcome. Would also like an update on any vaccine trials if anyone with an autoimmune suppressed has had or having a 2nd dose. Only heard of a diabetes guy who got the Oxford today. Masks and guidelines until we know more, I guess.

I got the initial impression that the Pzfier was unsuitable and not tested enough on 'unhealthy' people as it were. In hindsight and practicality, wouldn't it have been better to vaccine healthy, active in the country people first and leave the elderly and vunerable until last or when more results and data with time became available?

I had a look at your site but although you are based in the UK, the prices were all given in dollars. Why?

awareness75 profile image

They're in dollars because the website is run in the US I believe and can be used for international sales. So the prices have to be in dollars. The prices you see are the equivalent in pounds.
