Mrs Cropley goes off piste with a drinking chocolate pudding!

Evening everyone!

How about this for a very naughty, mega chocolatey, creamy-drinkie-delight?! I got the inspiration from a homemade chocolate torte that I baked yesterday along with some raspberry ice cream I made to go with it. I made some extra chocolate torte mixture to keep in the fridge to splodge into a mid-week crumble and thought a rather large dollop of the torte mixture would go very nicely into a big steaming mug of hot farm whole milk! It did! I whisked it in until the torte mixture had completely dissolved into the milk. I topped it off with some squirty cream, a handful of dried raspberry bits, a mini ball of raspberry ice cream and a tiny slice of the chocolate torte for decoration! It was pretty filling and quite delicious! I’ll see what I can muster next week! Keep well and stay safe...until next time! 😘

Yay! Happiness in a mug! Glad you like it Stiff! I’m going to crack on with stone painting once the kids break up as I will have a quieter start to the mornings - with typical teen sleeps, won’t see them until midday! 😂but then rather strangely, I miss them, even though I know they’re in the house!! How’s your daughter? I hope she has had a good term - I bet she’s looking forward to the Christmas holidays - and you too. If my Cropley Creations in the kitchen are anything to go by, I’m rather excited about what is going to appear on the stones! 🤪Have a good week 🤗😘🤗

Definately happiness in a mug 😂 yes that’s weird isn’t it, I get like that and miss my daughter in her lie ins, which I then often cut short 🤷‍♀️😂 she most definately is looking forward to the holidays, yes we both are but got to wait until Thursday . The school jumper day and all cancelled, she is in need of a bit of lightness, it’s been hard for them too and if the school wind downs of Xmas still exist this year they may as well just let them finish early 🤷‍♀️Still 3 more days but she can’t wait, we plan to bake lots when she’s home, Xmas treats for us , chooks and the dog 👍 it’s been a short term really with having to isolate with her dads hospital requirements but it doesn’t seem that way.he is sorted now ,and I feel better than have done so we are back to some normality whatever that is 🤷‍♀️😂 I think though xmas will be different, to relax will be respite 👍If your Cropley creations are anything to go by, you will be creating great stone paintings and enjoying it 🙏👍

No doubt we will speak more before Xmas but I hope the kids enjoy their holiday too and relax and enjoy Xmas , I know you will enjoy them being home and best wishes for Xmas and a brighter new year to you and your family , krazykat said it all 🙌🏻 , I look forward to many more Cropley creations and stones 👍😂😘🤗xx

Glad to hear that hubby is sorted now, that must have been such a worry for you all. Yes the Christmas holidays couldn’t come sooner - a time to just recuperate and relax after so many stresses on so many fronts. Oh dear, I’m salivating just looking at it! 😋 I wonder if I had it as a replacement meal if I wouldn’t put on any weight? 🤔 I’ll have to try it to find out but of course I don’t have your home-made torte mixture or your home made icecream!🤨 I’ll just close my eyes and dream I’m having it instead. Thank you Spotty! I think you could definitely use it as a meal replacement - you have protein in the eggs, butter and almond flour in the torte and vitamins and fibre in the raspberries......not quite so sure about the sugar and cream in the ice cream though!! 😂 ah well! Enjoy it anyway!! 🤗😘🤗

Yes, it was very very naughty this week! Glad you and hubs enjoyed it - I might do a couple more before Christmas with some festive themes and give all our waistlines a chance to get back to normal! Whatever that may be!! 🤪🥰😍🎅🎄
