Advice!

Hi - still not been diagnosed for definite with lupus but got this on my leg tonight. Is this a sign of lupus? Been to out of hours. He didn’t really know what it was but thought it could be related? Thank you in advance. Support on here is fabulous

I think the best thing to do is send a photo to your GP tomorrow. I would want to have a serious skin infection ruled out.

I would also talk about my symptoms and see if it is related? Any fatigue, joint pain, mouth ulcers, muscle pain etc? It may help with the diagnosis. If it is painful to touch and how did it come about? Sudden onset or expanding rash? Do let us know how you get on please and get well soon.

Hi - yes fatigue, funny rashes on arms and legs, joint pain and positive Ana antibodies and strongly positive Antiphospholipid antibodies. No diagnosis yet. Rash spread lots more and then turned to a bruise?! I just want an answer and treatment but it’s proving difficult!

It has a demarcation line - anything caused an adverse reaction ? I’d also say send to GP but do you have erythema/heat in it ? Itch ? And is it just there ? X

It doesn’t itch but I’ve had lots of itchy skin recently. The rash spread and no had turned to a bruise?!

Hi, Silly question? Buy did you have a heat pack or ice pack on it with in a last couple of days for your pains? Then sometimes you can get a delayed reaction. I get these with heat pad after a couple of days. Yours looks more angry though.
