Can anyone recommend a good rheumatologist around Birmingham /West Midlands please? I am willing to travel if it means seeing someone who knows their stuff. I saw a rheumatologist at the QE a few years ago, who almost diagnosed me with lupus, but then said she wasn't convinced I have it, so I've been trying to find answers ever since for my multitude of symptoms. I have got anti ds-DNA and ANA but crithidia and complements negative. Please PM me with any good rheumatologist recommendations and thanks in advance!

Yes I'll let you know, but think most consultations are over the phone or by video at the moment, so it probably doesn't matter where the doctor is based I suppose!
Hi I see Dr Thomas Sheeran at Cannock hospital he is head of the rheumatology dept and research. I find him very knowledgable and I think he has a private practice in Sutton Coalfield. Good luck 🦋
Hi Barbs, just to let you know that I saw Dr Sheeran last week and he does seem very good. He reminded me of Doc Martin! 😆 I've had a load of blood tests so should have the results in about a week or so 😊
