Lupus, prednisolone and athletes foot

Hi everyone! Just started for the first time predosolone 5 mg once daily for a month ( summer in Greece you see and i had an athletes foot for some time now. Does it get worse on steroids? I forgot to ask my doc although he claims that the dose and time is too small to actually make it worse. All i know is that was clear for a month , 6 days now im using predosolone started noticing it again...how did you deal with fungal infections when on steroids?

It definitely can get worse - and while it IS a low dose it is more than your body is used to - and I'd say you are providing a practical example!

Find a topical cream! So agree with PMRpro. Prednisone will be such a help and 5mg is v small dose
