I have been on Hydroxychloroquine for 5 months now and get mild headaches and nausea both of which I can deal with. My new symptom is tingling arms that feel like I am losing power in them. It lasts under 30 secs but extremely weird. Have I missed something on the side effect list. I read somewhere about the tablets causing Anaemia , this can result in pins /needles feeling or do I just go pester the doctor....
Thanks

Hello .I've been on hydroxchloroquine for almost 2 yrs and suffered bad headaches at the beginning.i cant say I've notice tingling in my arms but I do have b12 deficiency anaemia which causes pins and needles in my hands and feet when I'm due for my b12 injection.are you on regular blood checks ? X
I’ve had tingling in my arms which started a few years ago. I think it’s caused by degenerative discs in my neck/ spine which are starting to cause serious compression issues now. They told me that this wouldn’t affect both sides but I read my MRI radiology report of 2 years ago and it clearly states flattening if the cord due to central disc pressing on it. I spoke to my neurologist yesterday and she admitted that this could cause tingling down both arms - particularly now that it’s getting worse in left side where the disc above was noticeably narrowing the entry down into one arm. I’m being sent for urgent MRI now. Maybe time for some imaging For you too?
Alternatively look up small fibre neuropathy . I was taken off Hydroxichloraquine for this but it carried on regardless and affects much of my body now. It’s part of connective tissue disease for some.
