Lupus - baby

Hello everyone.

My daughter is just 10 months old and the doctors asume she has lupus. Since there is no one I colud share experience with in our small country I would be really really grateful if you would take a look at my picture and give your opinion.

Is your baby under the care of a rheumatologist? Has she had blood tests to confirm?

Thank you for your answer. She has had blood tests and since the doctor is not sure he wants to make biopsy too. Which I am not sure if I would let them do that because of total anastesia.

Do you have some experiences? What do you think about her face rash?

I have lupus (SLE) but have never had a malar rash so no experience with this personally. It is difficult for anyone to determine by photo if your baby's rash is due to lupus. You may want to seek the advice of an rheumatologist.
