I got a letter from the trust I work for. It was just saying that they know I've been sheilding for the last 12 weeks and they are aware that this has been extended to the 30th. They sent a leaflet with several helplines/ apps with login and passwords.
They wanted to make sure as an employer they were looking after all their sheilding employees. It sounds sad but I could have cried. I've not been forgotten! Such a simple thing but it's reassured me that I am a valuable member of staff.

Yes it is the local hospital. I think it was just nice being recognised by someone, since the government has forgotten us. Everyone else is moving forward yet we're still stuck indoors.
I am sure Hancock said something yesterday (ie Wednesday) in the briefing around the fact they "recognised the shielders couldn't have access to the social bubble" thing that others who live on their own can now access- and "will discuss more about shielders tomorrow" - or something along those lines... I was all ready today and watched it, listening thoroughly - nothing was said. I'm sure I didn't imagine it... wishful thinking? Nope... I don't think so. I guess they realised they cannot suggest anything yet... just not safe to.
One of the executives is sheilding so he wrote the letter, obviously he understands what we're going through as sheilders. Hence it's been approved by the upper management. Still the fact that the big boss is in the same position as us works in our favour!
