Lump on top of foot

I’ve developed a pea-sized lump that’s solid but seems to move under the skin, right on top of my foot near the middle joint. My feet are very painful, always, and I’ve had increasing trouble with the flexibility especially in this joint. I have SLE and Raynaud’s. Anyone know what this might be? A cyst of some kind maybe?

Sounds like a ganglion cyst.

I mentioned this exact thing to my Dr and was told Ganglion too. Actually can be quite sore when touched.

Did yours go away on its own?

No, I have had it for years now but at the moment it is smaller. I don't really notice it now unless I touch it.

I had this, had an ultrasound scan it was a ganglion and it just disappeared on its own after a few months.
