Despite the dark clouds, there is beauty

Morning all,

I don’t know about you but I feel that there has been a change in the tempo of life in the past 3 days, almost as if we are beginning to understand that our mode of living currently is the new normal. Amazing how we adapt.

I finally received my shielding letter, a tetch late but I had been following the guidelines anyway so made little difference.

This collage is from 2 days ago when we went out for a stroll into the bluebell wood (that’s our name for it) at the bottom of our garden.

Stay well all xx

Really lovely to share with us...great little family members...at there height the bluebells must really have a strong scent......

As to adapting - Hubby & I are learning our sense of humor again with each other & have more laughs together..... he is accepting my current limitations due to illness & why I think he must quietly worry about it....

Hoping for the best for a universal change for the positives in all this & continue hope for a vaccine soon....ml

I have to say there are many positives, my husband and I are also finding an equilibrium in this situation which has been lovely.

Let’s keep everything crossed for new treatments and a vaccine.

Me xx

Thanks leuann - beautiful photos...similar to a friend of mine who lives with her hubs right bang next door to a huge forest, and who go walkies with their four legged friend everyday too. The bluebells are just gorgeous and so glad you have this to escape to. Your darling woofs look very happy indeed - and wonderful to hear you and your hubs are settled down into what will probably be the way for a long time. V good to hear you have your support letter from the Gov - I found it comforting, and definitely felt less isolated! I even had a call from the Council yesterday to find out how I was managing, who was supporting me etc, and a number to call if that support could no longer carry on. V impressed. And, yes, totally agree... life has settled into "it is what it is" mode.. a new way of living, and I hope, for all of us, it's not too difficult/too long, waiting for that vaccine. Please keep the photo's coming... brightened my day (as ever!) as it's chucking it down here and possibly where you are! xx
