'Scotland Cares' : 'People keen to take part can visit the ReadyScotland.org website, where they will be able to choose between an NHS scheme for retired medics and a more general scheme for the public.
It is hoped that the initiative, which will be coordinated by the Red Cross, will result in an army of “community reserve volunteers” signing up to help around Scotland.'
