I would be very interested to know how their immune system coped with this.

Do we know if anyone with Lupus has contracted the virus yet?
🤩👍GOOD QUESTION samm! Will be following your post with great interest ❤️🍀 Coco
I think even if they knew of a case, it would take many cases to demonstrate any trends. It is probably best to assume that lupus patients will respond similarly to other flu-like illnesses.
Also, there is too much variability in lupus features and treatment to be able to draw conclusions. Anyone on immunosuppressants and anyone with high disease activity are apparently at the most risk.
I know of one Lupus sufferer who has symptoms via Twitter. Can't get tested though so impossible to know.
Why can’t they be tested? Just wondering.
No-one is being tested unless they go to hospital. And sometimes not even then. Just told to self isolate unless they are critical.
Oh. Ok. Unless they are tested and know for sure, she just has a suspicion, right? I guess you did say she has symptoms, not that she has it. I guess I need to slow down when reading. Well, 🙏 I hope she doesn’t have it.
Yes definitely. No-one knows though. A couple of weeks ago, my whole family was sick with something, but we thought it was too mucusy to be Covid. Now they are saying it can be mucusy. We'd only really know if we were tested, but they are testing no-one.
Really? Where are you that they are testing no one? Here they’ll test you if you have two of the symptoms.
I’m also curious (I’m sure we all are). Do the immune suppressants make you more vulnerable (or equally do to anyone else?) or are they truly a help? Does our disease w/o immune suppressants make us less likely to get it, but cause major disease activity fighting it? I’m for curious on the 411.
