I've had 2ops to remove lump & surrounding tissue non malignant agressive tumour . Why was your lump linked to lupus

Hi i had breast cancer two years ago. They said it was genetically link but not the Brca type i am newly diagnosed with Lupus. So that would be interesting if there is a genetic link.

Iv never found out why it was linked to lupus but now i have all these warts on my hands which are spreading and verrucas on feet. They said they might treat with anti cancer drugs and chemotherapy/laser but not sure it will be successful well thats what consultant said. Iv never felt so distraught as they look awful and affecting my work as i am nurse. I am praying for a miracle.

Bit of a large hammer to crack a nut. Yes, when you're under stress and your immune system is pretty naff they'll appear. Always found that occlusal solution worked the quickest...for my patients, myself and daughter (both diabetic/SLE) What have you tried?

Hi Sue what is occlusal solution? Tried cryotherapy, also acid something cant re-call name a cream my dermatologist gave me. Tried vinegar, bazuka and nothing is working. My white cell counts are v.low and body is just not fighting back. Warts and verrucas look awful not to mention sore and getting caught in things.

It's salicylic acid with a good barrier to air thrown in the mix. As a chiropodist, it's the only verruca/wart solution I've ever found effective (2 - 6 weeks). Might be worth a go?

Hi clova, I just saw your post whilst searching for information on fibromatosis. How are you doing? My daughter has just been diagnosed. Do you know of anywhere that I can get more information. Feeling quite anxious

I'm fine was told pathology was not malignant that fibromatosis is quite a rare benign lump.chances are it could come back again but unlikely to be malignant.i will have annual mammograms. I was told to get on with my life and not to worry so that's what I've done. Will be due for mammogram around August. I hope you daughter is ok please let me know. I never did find out if there was any link with lupus

Thank you so much for replying clova. My daughter is due an MRI in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed all will be well and she can get on with planning for University in September. It is good to know you are keeping well. Thanks again for the reply.
