Hi Holayaddios; I am very sorry to hear you have all these chronic diseases. You’ve come to the right place. It’s all very confusing and concerning, but you will adjust.
I was just reading through a post that started a year or two ago by Jimbo. He gives some excellent advice if you can find it. It should be one of the first threads in here, as someone just added a comment a few minutes ago. But his words will comfort you and embolden you. If you have time, please read them. I would try to paraphrase them here for you, but I could not do it justice.
All my best Hola, and it is truly ‘hola’ without any adios. We welcome you, and you’re going to be just fine. Just remember not to give up (ever!) and you’ve got this. 🙏all my best.
It really is a great place to be. No one else truly understands, as much as they want to. And, we don’t necessarily tell them everything, nor all the time. We don’t want to worry loved ones or bore others. We end up keeping too much to ourselves, yet, it’s for the best. So it’s nice to come in here and have others who understand.
