Hi. Although I have a diagnosis Graves, I haven't heard of Reverse t3 so can't help with your question but it has got me curious. Hopefully someone out there will have the answer you need.
Thanks Lizziequink. As In understand it, sometimes free t4 can be converted to reverse T3 instead of free T3 which is why you can feel all the symptoms of Underactive Thyroid. My T3 always comes back low but within range but isn't working optimally and that maybe because my t4 is being converted to reverse t3 instead of free t3. . It's quite complicated as you need to work out a ratio between your ft3 and reverse t3! I had the reverse t3 done privately as I had read about it from thyroid sufferers
