I would like to thank all of you who have replied to my 1st post, you have all helped me not feel so alone...i had gotten so down that i even asked my boyfriend of 12 years if he wanted to split up as he doesn't need this in his life! He looked at me as if i was bonkers and said " whatever this is and whatever this brings in to OUR lives, we will deal with it together" which helped me tremendously as you can imagine.
I have an appointment on Thursday at the eye clinic at my local hospital as part of my initial " welcome to the Lupus world" welcome pack...fingers crossed that goes ok.
Thank you again
Tricia

Bless you. I remember saying the very same thing to my husband ten years ago when our relationship changed forever. I had always been the strong one, the doer, the driving force, the decision maker, the main wage earner. Our relationship now is different but he is my rock and I am his despite the chronic ill health. You will have to make changes I am sure but that is not necessarily a bad thing and in the end love survives. I wish you all the very best on your health journey, having a loving partner will be a huge help along the way xx
