Great job Lisa-- keep up the good work - did you use a patch or Chantex I have been using Patch and Gum - been awhile not an easy thing . Congrats Hugs

I had a patch for approx 2 weeks but started having all weird skin issues so I assumed it was the patch and removed it. I do vape when needed and also I have nicotine sweeties but I can feel the craving as almost gone completely xx

This was battle for me - being hyper - on the go all the time made it a many attempt problem- but i didn't give up. And now I still use a patch and gum if i get to bad -it's that i am not buying cig's and start smoking again.

Superb girl! Hold tight to every achievement right now. This is a big one!

🐼x

I hope you are getting support from others you normally smoke with.

It's not just the chemical addiction. It's a lifestyle change away from the smoking breaks.

Save what you would usually spend to put towards a treat of some kind. It will soon mount up

Not doing very good saving, I treated myself to some new pandora earrings 😊

My social circle is non existent so that element has been easy.

Well done you. I'm 62 and finally managed to stop smoking 3 years ago after numerous failed attempts. I was given champix by the GP. I did have the occasional lozenge but it was only 1mg. I only stopped those 3 month ago, only had 1 a day but it seemed to be my safeguard. It's not easy so give yourself a pat on the back and a little treat out of money you have saved, you deserve it

Well done to you also. I have being doing cbt therapy and realised I was rewarding my ill health with a rubbish dirty habit.

Kind of the attitude, well I’m sick already.

You should be very proud of yourself xx

Well done. That's the hard bit. You will probably be tempted but stick with it, it does get easier, plus after 30 days "giving in to just 1" is a big no no ....my first attempt at stopping taught me that one, what made it worse was having the "just one" actually wasn't enjoyable but it put me back, I started again...I did successfully stop the next time ( needed nicotine replacement patches) ....12 years on still stopped and I won't re-start

Brilliant, well done.

I do forget I don’t smoke especially when I wake up in the morning.

I have smelt a cigarette and the smell actually makes me feel sick.

I have to continue this path 😬x
