Itchy scalp and thinning hair

Anyone recommend treatments for itchy scalp and dry brittle hair which is thinning.

I get episodes of this from time to time but worse this time.

Had Lupus for 30 years on Quinoric and Prednisolone.

I rub organic coconut oil in my scalp and it tends to help with the itching. And then I massage it into the hair. I leave it on for a few hours or more and it makes it look much better. In the past two years my hair has become really try and brittle and this has helped.

No I actually use the very good cooking coconut oil that is high grade and organic. I buy it at my local grocer.

Oh and if I have immense itching I add a few drops of tea tree oil to the blend and it really stops the itching on the scalp.

Try Organic Donkey MIlk it is the best thing I Have ever discovered

I had itchy scalp that was driving me mad plus dandruff . This shampoo bar cleared it up the itchy scalp has gone so has the dandruff

My hair has not being this good in years and all my curls have come back. Best of all no chemicals. Have a friend who was prescribed some scalp treatments which were not going much good but damaging her her. After using Donkey MIlk Shampoo everything cleared she uses it now wash all her body and says her skin is lovely and soft

I am lucky I get mine from family in Greece. If I run out the best one I have found which is excellent is Dr Ancient Donkey Milk Soap. It is a traditional Organic handmade soap. Amazon sell it for £7.00 a bar it was on offer of buy 2 get one free There are cheaper ones out there but they contain paraben,SLS,SLES,Silicone, sulphate EDTA,PEGS. Wanted to upload you a picture but cannot work out how to do it. Also if you this get a vinegar hair conditioner to put on and rinse out after washing your hair

I’ve never heard of donkey milk, so would be also interested to where you can buy it.

My scalp is so itchy I’ve made it bleed a few times, at the moment I’m trying pure castor oil which is supposed to be good for a lot of things, so far I’ve found that it is calming my scalp and helping to slowly reduce the horrible blemishes that I have on my neck and shoulders. You put it on overnight and wash it it of in the morning. It’s a bit messy but when your desperate, you’ll try anything 😉

Good idea, otherwise you’ll never know what works and it may not be as messy. Think I’ll have a search for it too.😊
