Missed my appointment

Due to traffic I’ve missed my appointment at guys so gutted refused to see me and I have to wait another 6 weeks gutted 😭😭😭

I’m surprised. My appointment is usually always an hour later then scheduled. Sorry. I know it’s tough you’ve got to wait again.

You can always ring up each morning for cancellations xx

They book so tightly these days there is no room to squeeze anyone in anymore

I really feel for you too. I would have thought they could have been more accommodating. Half an hour is nothing. Did you ask if they were running to time? I was referred a couple of weeks ago. I was able to go online and book. There were appointments before 6 weeks. Perhaps you have to see the same Dr? Why not keep ringing for a cancellation before then? Take care x

Ooops!!! Sorry to hear that u missed your slot ☹️

As others have said u can ring regularly to see if there are any cancellations

These appts usually take up most of the day..arranging how to get there..seeing the Dr..getting prescriptions..n then getting home again..having blood tests etc..we never know how much time it will take or how much energy it's gonna cost!!

On the positive side you've done a dummy run..now u know how long it takes to get there..where the clinic is etc so in 6wks time you'll know what you're doing!! At least they didn't discharge u but gave u another appt so all's not lost xx
