Benlysta anyone?

I'm waiting for Benlysta approval. Anyone that has taken this, could you please share any positive and/or negative experience? I'm worried about too much immunosuppression and side effects. My doctor mentioned JK disease and freaked me out.

Hi miccika1,

I had my 3rd infusion on April 25th.

I'm also on hydroxychloroquine, methotrexate and prednisone.

I understand how you feel. It took me a long time to make up my mind about benlysta but the other medication it's not working.

I have no had any allergic reactions or any other symptoms just a runny nose. Neither I noticed any improvement but I think it's still early days.

My consultant said JC reactivation is very very rare.

I see. How often do you have infusions? Would you mind giving an update after 2mo? 😀. I will be getting an injection.
