Last few months I started to have some type of red rash on my both cheeks..I dont have it on nose...so I started to think that it might be lupus...last blood tests were good and I suffer from gout where I have increased urin acid.Tomorrow will have appoitment at dermatologist but I am little scared as all that I read about cheek rash on web is connected to lupus...to mention that I am 39 year old male

You may have dermatamyositis. I get that rash, sometimes it’s also around my eyelids, on knuckles of hands, etc. autoimmune problems are such a mixed bag! So sorry you are having problems 🙏👋
I have cutaneous lupus n I don't get the classic Malar rash on the face..I get them everywhere else but my face!! Your dermatologist should be able to give u some more clues as to what it might be.
U said that bloods were good n I'm not sure what u mean by that..if u have an autoimmune condition it will usually be detected in the blood as well as certain symptoms..lupus UK r a very helpful website..very informative!! I hope u get some answers soon xx

I wasnt here for a month but here is update from dermatologist...he said that I have Telangiectasia and that it can go to Rosacea as that rash is little itchy and small blood vessels are visible.
As I mentioned I have gout ( during last blood test I had very high uric acid and attack with redness and pain on my finger toe where I almost couldnt walk) I have hand fingers pain but I cant say that it is making me problem but it more irittates me...I dont have redness, swealling it is just a managable pain. I asked my GP about it but he told me that it is beacuse of gout but I am still worried that it can be Lupus.
I am also sending pics of face rash it is not so visible but its there :/
