So I have been having really bad palpitations and shortness of breath so went to doc who carried out a ECG. They have said there is some abnormality in my T4 area.
I have no idea what this is or means, has anybody had these results?
Thank you

Hey there - very sorry to hear that. Have you googled? Probably best to get them to explain themselves... dont want to get all worried - not great they said that and didnt give you more info. Id get on to them tomorrow if i were you. Big hug x
Thank you Djk99!
I have my big appt tomorrow with rheumy and neroligist so going to ask them, I also have a follow up on Fri to discuss ECG results.
I just wondered if anyone else has had this.
Thank you

Oh thats great to hear, I do hope it clarifies things. Im wary of researching myself on health things - but always glad I did in the end as it helps me understand better and know what questions to ask. Id get some questions ready before you go as, if youre anything like me, I always forget what I wanted to ask, what they said and all sorts! I do hope someone replies to you on here before then who has some experience of what you mention. Ive mod leaky aortic valve and mild AF post ablation but not heard the T4 bit mentioned before - I dont think they usually go into it much - just do things, for instance, the ablation a few years ago - but not detailed explanation about why etc. Shocking really, but they prob think we dont really understand anyway... er, and theyd be right obvs! Doesnt mean they shouldnt go through it all with you, layman stylee.. nothing worse than not knowing ...... Good luck tomorrow and let us know how you get on. Hugs x
I’m sorry you have this worry ang I hope it’s explained to you in the upcoming appointments.
