It’s for Guys & St Thomas. Just wondering if anyone goes there and can tell me what it’s like.

I’m terrible, my memory is bad but even worse in appointments where you can get side tracked. I have even taken a list but forgotten to check it before I left the room! Last time I took two copies of my list and handed one over to the doctor for him to keep. xx
I am waiting to get there too. I think you will be in good hands assuming they have referred you to the right department.
I see a doctor privately who works from guys, it is him I am waiting to see. December is not to far to wait either. I’m sure you will get some answers xx
Hi I was dx there and dr D’Cruz I found was excellent I travelled from north wales the night before and stayed in acc they have there fir my app the next day . It did get extremely busy there and I found that they were very thorough I eventually couldn’t do the travelling even though it was only twice a year but am sure you will at least get good informative information from Drs who actually know how to treat you . Good luck with it all x
Hi Loulamb..I have been attending for about 8 years now and they are brilliant.everyone I have seen has been caring and compassionate..initially had +++test eventually diagnosed with auto immune..Ple and Hughes. I go to derm and derm/reum combined..been st Thomas's in the past too..I'm from Leicester..(Yes the football champions 😂)..just wondered how your getting there..there is a shuttle bus from st Thomas's I usually catch to guys..(think it's for staff really but patients use it too)..I go by coach to London C10 from across the road..then to guys..( I Don't do underground 😀)..I always receive a copy of my consultation and they are most helpful..Generally I see a senior Dr who with then clarify any changes with consultant..clinics are large and can run late..especially the combined clinic..if you are given a prescription allow yourself plenty of time to collected it.say at least an hour as it's a tiny pharmacy in Sainsburys (which I cant quite understand?).apart from that the hospital have a great team of professionals and experts at what they do..good luck with everything and take care..xxx
