Thanks for that! The comments show a typical cross-section of the population who 100% believe pain is not real...πŸ€ͺ πŸ˜΅πŸ˜‹ xxx

Hello eekt ,

I thought the programme showed how fascinating and clever the brain is at helping our bodies keep going and stay active There is clearly much more to the placebo effect than anyone would expect. It is obviously not imagined or unreal?

the brain and body connections are fantastic. There was improvement and signs of a great reduction in pain without toxic side affects of their usual medication. It was very moving.

It is a pity we cannot go to our doctor and say " please give me the blue and white placebo pill" as shown on the programme, so I can test it it will help me too?

I am not sure the big pharmaceutical companies would be very happy at the loss of their usual money maker range of pain killers: If you could ?

Hi spzgirl! I was given a paracetamol prescription one time and suspect the doctor was attempting the placebo effect...didn't work without the 20 minute consultation or empathy, and not much good for structural nose collapse anyway! πŸ˜‚

Seeing those brainwaves spreading to stimulate the release of endorphins was quite remarkable! And I suspect Foggyme 's take on life in Chuckles0808 great post maybe, just maybe, does the same thing! Next time it rains, I'm going to take great pleasure in its shape! πŸ€©πŸŒ§πŸ’¦β˜”οΈxxx
