Recently I have been aware of the benefits of Chinese herbs tea, for example it's said that Goji tea is good for eyes and can help prevent Glaucoma. Can someone give me some advice whether to try or not?
Many thanks!!

From a quick google search, it appears that the evidence for the effectiveness of goji berries for eye conditions is rather thin. On the other hand, it seems to feature quite prominently in lists of foods to avoid if you have an inflammatory and/or auto-immune disorder as it is said to promote the inflammatory response. I haven't checked out the primary sources for this advice, but without investing time to do so, my first instinct would be to avoid goji berries and tea. x

I would encourage you to speak to your GP or rheumatologist about drinking Goji tea to ensure it does not cause any effect on your medication. Natural/herbal foods and drinks can sometimes affect medication.
We published a blog article on lupus, diet and healthy eating, you may like to read the article at lupusuk.org.uk/diet-and-hea... - the article mentions foods that people with lupus may want to avoid.
