Yes I often get these too - same on finger pads. No answers I’m afraid - I have Sjögren’s and small vessel vasculitis.

I get very blotchy palms. I have posted some photos on here before.

It never completely goes, but the redness and blotching gets worse when I have other symptoms , fatigue , pins and needles in hands and really painful feet!!!

I’ve no idea at this time what is causing it, but I believe my hands are screaming to me something !

Sometimes my hands will go extremely dry after this, to the point even a minor knock will split the skin! Not sure if you get that also ! The most recent doctor I saw seemed interested in the appearance of my hands!

I looked at your photos of your palms and it too looks like palmer erythema. You will notice it never affects the middle of your palm. The center of my palm is normal color but I have some of it on my fingers as well. There are a few things that cause it and they say once it appears it doesn't fully go away until whatever is causing it is treated. Mine appeared last year and hasn't gone away since.

It's normal for some people (like they have had it their entire life) but if it appears suddenly its caused by something.

sounds similar to something I get on my feet only it isn't red more purple like a bruise, raised bump and very very sore. always clears up before a doctors appointment and doesn't show well in photos so never had a diagnosis

I'll put my hand up to say "Yes" too. I've never really thought about it, but can recognise it in the photo. My feet are worse.

I slap lots of moisturiser on. I don't know if it helps, them, but doesn't seem to harm.

Moisturising probably helps the circulation ,don’t you think?

Hi Missnatalie2018,

I get Dyshidrotic eczema on my hands and feet during a flare. Sometimes my palms and the bottom of my feet get really itchy for seemingly no reason - then when the itch goes I'm left with kind of blistered skin - very odd!

I get pins and needles sensation multiple times during the day on my right arm from my elbow down to my fingers - very annoying!

You are not alone :)

Looks like palmer erythema, I cant see the photo very well but from what I can see. I have it badly on both my palms and my doctors confirmed that's what mine is. It showed up early last year and never went away.

What caused it I don't have any serious health issues as far as I'm aware but I am overweight and do smoke

I honestly dont know what caused it but a couple drs thought I had liver disease because I have spider angiomas and broken veins all over my face that also appeared out of no where and just gets worse and worse... I have also been dealing with dizzy/lightheaded spells for over a year now. The weirdest thing to is that last year I couldn't see any of my regular veins except for a little in my wrist area but now I have visible veins all over my body and its disturbing. I have seen many drs in the last year and a half. I saw a rheumatologist who took 27 tubes of blood and every test he ran was normal, I am currently waiting on results from blood work that the endocrinologist I saw ordered. I wish I knew what was causing all this.

I have this all the time to a lesser or greater degree. I always think it’s worse when my Lupus is playing up.
