PIP Lupus Depression - who can help me fill out the form?

Hello there,

I was hoping to fill out the wretched PIP form myself, but due to the heatwave I just wasn't able to cope. I want to find someone to fill it out with me. Is there someone I could pay urgently at this late stage, like a private welfare rights person?

Any recommendations would be gladly received at this late stage

Hi LilyMistri2 ,

Have you asked DWP for an extension to complete your application form due to the circumstances? This may help ease any pressure on getting it finished so urgently?

Just this minute I have got an appointment with the CAB and the DWP have extended me another 2 weeks. He also said I could extend again without any problem if my appointment got cancelled and that they were used to it. Very kind sounding voice. It has been very stressful.

If you still need help after CAB, please feel free to message me! I'm waiting for my appeal. When I went to the CAB, they said my form and etc information should me more than enough. But I did do a lot of research before I wrote it.

I'm here if you need to chat or just have a really good moan. My heart starts racing at the thought of mine, so I do get it.

Hiya @LilyMistri2 I'm glad you've got more time. I just thought I'd add that a welfare rights officer should also be able to aid you ..in my area they are part of local council social services Plus if you're a member of the charity Lupus UK you can get free access to the guides by the organisation "benefits and work" and their advice can really help understand the system and best ways to claim lupusuk.org.uk/benefits/
